Welcome Friends! Have you learned to play yet?

CM is a budding organization founded by your very own Gypsy Fyre and run by the dedicated members of the Creative Motion Action Team. We are committed to introducing others to the joy and creative outlet that skill toys and other circus arts invite into our lives as well as teaching people the overall health benefits of various “circusy things". We work hard to connect fellow enthusiasts and foster a sense of community amongst fellow spinners. We delight in demonstrating, for all the world to see, the joy and fulfilling qualities of placing creativity into motion. We regularly ask this empowering and life changing question: “Have you learned to play yet?”

This site is a community full of resources, tutorials, events, friends and fun.

We also have quite a few kids ranging from ten to twenty-four that also seemed interested in spinning, hooping, and juggling. If any of…See More

Me and RJ made some brand new cathedrals yesterday (may 22)

At one point in the video you see me (on the left) turn around for a moment or two. This is because i thought my back was on fire, turns out it wasnt on fire, i just had a pea size drop of melted solder fly off the end of one of our… Continue

SpinWest

So yesterday was the inaugural SpinWest event. I don't think there is any way it could have possibly gone better. Everyone that came out brought amazing energy, creativity, and a true love of play. But the thing that made the event truly magical turned out to be the location.

It was supposed to be a back up location in case the weather was bad. We'd been struggling with finding an alternate location all month, thought we had one nailed down, then found that we may not have…

Beginner Poi Practice Info/Guide

I keep getting asked "how do i practice?", "What should i be practicing?" ect... so gathered some information here from a few of my fave resources( home of poi forum, tribe.net, domorepoi, playpoi) also of this is right from the site some of this i've added my two cents to, all of it has merit in my opinion. structure, the nomenclature or the demonstration itself.

How do I practice?
