I saw them, mentioned that I would take them for whomever spoke up about them later, and promptly left them on the table. Maybe someone grabbed them after I left? (I hope so!)

Bumping the thread up again to see who all is interested...
Also, my location is out because I can't guarantee that the spot will be available. It's first-come, first-serve - it can not be reserved.
So... food in the park it is!
Who's still int...
Thanks for the survey, Gypsy! I'm looking forward to reading everyone's answers!
1. What's your poison? What do you like to play? I just started with poi about four months ago. I hope to pick up fire fans, staff, contact juggling, and flags in th...
Haha. I'll check to see if my apartment clubhouse is big enough for us. That's the only location I know of that would be free+available+warm. It's about twenty minutes northwest of Heights Park... is that too far?
Maybe I just need to suck it up ...
I'll be at SpinFest, definitely.
Can we do SpinFeast either earlier or later in an indoor location, though, to avoid the cold weather (assuming it cools down by then)? If not, I'm still in. ;)
Toys that require a certain amount of practice and dexterity to master.
What is your skill toy of choice?
Having fun learning bits and pieces of everything, but concentrating heavily on poi.
How long have you been spinning/hooping/juggling/etc?
I've been spinning since 07/07/09. Virgin fire on 08/22/09. It's incredibly addictive and I've met some fantastic, welcoming folks!
Have you learned to play yet? What introduced you to this world of motion?
I've been watching friends and acquaintances do it for a while. Watching Boarhead and Sam especially was awesome, and then Brad planted the seed by asking if I wanted to learn. So I ordered poi and got started!
Where is your favorite place to "play"?
I live in a larger, U-shaped building near Legacy and the Dallas North Tollway. Inside the U is a huge grassy courtyard. It's perfect for spinning, and eventually, I will see if fire would be allowed - it's the perfect set up!
How do you find your "Spin-Zen"? What helps you get your groove on?
Music helps me relax a little! I'm still working on my playlist, though.
Why do you do it? What motivates you to spin/dance?
I like cultivating a skill that is entertaining for myself and others. I've had a blast teaching my friends what I know. I think the best part is sharing it!
Thanks! It's great to finally meet some skill toy enthusiasts in this area. Also, you were right, Mel's archer weaves (and everything else o.o) are absolutely awesome!
