Event Description

SpinFest is a free event Creative Motion hosts on the third Saturday of each month in the DFW area to expose the public to the joy and benefits of skill toys and movement while serving as a great way to bring fellow enthusiasts together to learn from each other, socialize and showcase the skills they’ve been focusing on. SpinFest is a workshop, festival, and play date all rolled into one. We invite anyone and everyone to come join us, whether they are there to watch, learn, teach or simply enjoy the company of other spinners while they play. Creative Motion hosts an open environment to introduce and inspire the general public with everything that skill toys have to offer. SpinFest is designed to present people with a fun and exciting outlet for exercise and creative expression.

Monkey it trying out something new this mounth: NOOB Poi Workshop...
Have you always wanting to learn poi? Does he thought of getting started intimidate you? Do you only know a few move and don't know where to go from there? If so then come out to the park early cause from 3-4 Monkey will be teaching a beginner focused work shop aimed at getting your foot in the door and set in the right direction to help you develop the skills you need to play poi. This is a trial run, if this is a success then we will expand the concept to include other toys and instructors. As always if you would like to volunteer to help please inform monkey via PM or Txt

Remember to bring sunblock, shades and anything else you need to survive in the Texas sun(though hopefully it will me cooler this month) once again there will be fresh fruit and water provided , feel free to bring something of your own and also we do accept donations on our homepage to help keep this thing going. So come out have good time, learn a new skill, bring a friend(s) and help us make this the biggest SpinFest yet!
